Merry Born to my lover Tupac Amaru Shakur!!!! Today he is 40 years infinity :'-)

Enjoy these video's in his memory:

It's like why do you care so much to be so aware?!?!?!?!? He was born a Profit #stamp

Kim's ideal middle school/high school courses

Collective Work & Responsibility (cont.)

Gosh I stay in love with him. And I speak of him in a present state because he's so #TIMELESS. The clock went dead on him and I know that sounds crazy but he conquered death through many vessels of himself; His prophecies, and his awareness and his fearlessness to make others aware stand alone. His music, interviews, and other platforms reign supreme and supersede his ashes because they're more than significant today. I salute him for his selflessness and his acceptance of the responsibilities that came with his mind, his understanding, his celebrity, his gifts, his following, his heart. I assume it's much more easier to ignore it and continue to solely maintain and uplift self (I can't bring myself to ever do that and I have tried =/ shit's just not for me).

I wonder how it would be if we all one day realized that we aren't put here for self...............

He's my warrior. He's my best friend.

I spoke on some of these issue this other day with Today's Lesson at the end.

Today's Lesson.................................

($0.02: I agree with both parties but I do believe with some rappers ignorance is bliss; for once you become aware of something that affects a people that you identify with and you have a platform where you are more heard and felt than the next man, one would think it would be quite difficult to shy away/disown your responsibility as a citizen to your community............... but I do wish that parents would take the time to PARENT their children and stop allowing the television and the head phones to substitute their role)
abundant vacancy .............. =/

Merry Born to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (belated)

I'm pretty speechless on just the mere reality that he live and walked on the same pavement I do now. He's is truly royalty in my heart.

I'm so thankful for his sacrifice and his existence. We've come a long way but the work is never finished. I pray for his serenity. Amen

iLove: Garden of Love

So this is my newest love affair. It's crazy that I took the time to listen to this song a very dreary day. Match made in heaven ;-). Makes me wanna grab somebody (special somebody ;-) ) and just stare at them for hours and hours. Just watching all grains, bumps, textures, rises, falls, colors.............all of the perfect imperfections of my own perfect imperfection made just for little ole me lol. (because you know when you stare too hard you see all the wrong lol).

oooh and he says "pitter patter" I say that very often. I knew Raheem and I were just meant to be. Twas love at first listen.

"The angelic.......nastiness she possessed" smdh come on Raheem smh.......simply in love

BET Hip Hop Awards

Ok so I know I'm late but..............................................

I really didn't get to fully watch the entire show. Maybe I have ADD but I just couldn't keep focus lol. Seriously. But from what I did get to see, this was the highlight for me:

The suits are what initially caught my eye ;-)

'A Conversation With President Obama'

Now first let me say that there was some false advertisement in the marketing for when this conversation was suppose to air..O_o's all over that. (I read/heard that it was suppose to air at 6pm and it aired at 4pm)

I loved this entire ordeal. This man, my President, is so innovative. For him to surround himself with representatives of today's youth, all put in a room to question and critique him is just genius. It is a very brave and risky act (nothing new for this beautiful man). I'm going to let you all see for yourself but this man was equip with the statistics/facts for every question that came his way so much to where it often seemed as if some of the audience members were quite subjective with their opinions and just simply didn't do their research on their topics.

Enjoy:

The video speaks for itself. It's definitely moving and inspiring. Brings a smile to my heart and a tear to my face for Black Men in this age.

Build A Man: Marvin Gaye

Ok so Build A Man is a topic I'm going to use to post some of the traits that I would like in a MAN lol. As I walk on this yellow brick road, I come across different men that embody different characteristics/traits, physical/emotional/intellectual/spiritual/etc.... that I would like to put in a jar shake up and 'build a man' for me.

Call me crazy O_o but it helps me meander through these 'men' that don't embody that of a MAN. Gives me a wee bit of hope, and keeps me from settling.

whenever I come across any of these amazing men (in my mind, on my ipod, on the screen, in person, in my dreams (fictional created beings that I name) ) I will post something of them (song, movie clip, description, picture)

So without further ado my first feature of Build A Man is...........................................

He is (was R.I.H) so alluring and honest and bravely vulnerable smh............and he's from D.C. (-; ....DC wad up!!

Song that currently has me hypnotized:
